This is a free for all People's Choice belly dance contest. Creativity is king. The rules are simple.

  • Your performance must include belly dance costuming, music or moves and be 7 minutes or less.
  • Everything that goes on stage with you must come off with you.
    • All performances must be family friendly.
  • You must pre-register, turn your music in an hour early, and be on time.
  • Contestants will be disqualified for unsportsmanlike behavior.
  • Your performance must be your own work.
  • You can only enter once.
  • Acceptance into the contest is first come, first served.
    • Contest line-up will be randomly decided.
  • Contest entries must be received by July 4.
  • All contest performances must be the performer’s original material.

That's it! You can dance as a soloist, duet, or part of a troupe. You can do tap dance/belly dance or a high wire act. Trophies will be awarded to the winner in the categories of Most Entertaining (favorite), Most Creative (most original), and Prop Master (best use of props). Audience voting decides the winners.
